Planned Tree Works in the Parish

During the time of the Tree works planned for the Churchyard in late March, dead wood will also be removed from some trees in Burrs Meadow and the tree Guards on the Hornbeams at the back will also be made safe.

The other works that were proposed at the last PC meeting have been cancelled.

Removal of Trees in Park Lane, Puckeridge

Please be advised that three trees have been removed – one Lime, and two Crab Apples – as local residents made representation to the Parish Council that the Crab Apple fallen fruit were creating a slip hazard on the footways and were obstruction the street lights.

The Lime tree was creating excessive shade.

Repeated pruning did not resolve the issues.
